Bervina Easy couplings are manufactured under the company's own patent. The easy coupling is a combination of a beam coupling and tapered bushings.
This technology facilitates installation of the coupling on shafts without machining. The couplings have a very high torsional stiffness, making it suitable for motion control applications where highly precise positioning, frequent stops and starts, and reverse rotation are required.
The coupling operates with zero backlash and constant speed that compensates for angular, parallel and axial misalignment during operation. The body is a one-piece, helical-cut aluminum construction.
