Beam Couplings

Helical couplings of one-piece construction, with zero backlash and constant velocity to compensate for angular, parallel and axial imbalances during operation.

The beam coupling has a very high torsional stiffness, making it suitable for motion control applications where extremely precise positioning, frequent stops and starts, and reverse rotation are required. Couplings are available in stainless steel and aluminum with metric, inch and inch to metric bore sizes with H7 tolerance.

Single (three-beam) and multi-beam (six-beam) couplings are available with set screws or clamping styles. Single-beam couplings have a shorter length, allowing us to integrate existing equipment with all the best attributes of a helical coupling.

Multi-beam couplings have double helix which provides superior misalignment capabilities in all directions and higher torque capacity.

The couplings are for applications such as shaft encoders, resolvers, stepper motors, all forms of servo devices, linear and ball screw actuators, robots, positioning tables, computers and radars.

These endless belts have a hardness of 60 - 90 Sha and are available in lengths from 150 - 1500 mm.

Different profiles and studs are available in the back for design and fabrication. The best new product is the FDA VFFS belt, which is made of FDA polyurethane base belt and silicone.
